The many seed and nursery companies are more than happy to supply us with the material to do this.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Even better, now is a good time to explore the Internet, to see what is new in the world of gardening. We do actually have the world at our fingertips when it comes to garden shopping. Most of the best nurseries have their own web sites where you cannot only browse their catalogs on-line but, interact with them. This time of year is also their slow time and most are only too happy to answer your Email, some even offer Chat Boards where you can exchange information.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This is also a great time of year to explore the many gardens oriented &#8220;Lists&#8221; available free of charge on the Internet. There are many excellent lists out there on almost any gardening subject. Some are quite specific while others cover a broad range of topics. Like anything, some are better than others, so you will want to shop around. A good general purpose one to start with is Perennial List at perennials@mallorn.com. This list is dedicated to the discussion of all perennials in a garden context. Information is freely exchanged. This &#8220;List&#8221; is made up of gardeners, for gardeners, and by gardeners. Each day&#8217;s postings are full of useful information and conversation. To subscribe simply send an Email to Majordomo@mallorn.com with this message in the body of your Email subscribe perennials (your Email address).
